Maruen is a visual artist who creates hybrid assemblages and immersive installations. Her work explores the delicate tensions between nature and culture, wounding and repair, inviting viewers into a deeply sensory and reflective experience. Driven by a practice rooted in philosophy, anthroposophy, and literature, she defines herself by her connection to material—whether wielding a chainsaw, a scraper, or a paint tube. For Maruen, the work is a manifestation of thought and intention, a transformation of experience into form.
